Job Description:
SyberStone is seeking experienced and reliable Field Technicians to join our team as independent subcontractors. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site IT support, installations, and troubleshooting for our clients. This position is ideal for individuals who are highly skilled, self-motivated, and capable of working independently under a 1099 contractor arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installations, repairs, and maintenance of IT hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to networking, computer systems, and other IT equipment.
• Install and configure network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and cabling.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on-site.
• Complete work orders, document tasks, and report project status to management.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professionalism and communication.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Manage your own schedule and prioritize work orders to meet client needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and IT equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Experience with cabling, hardware installation, and network setup.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client sites.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay based on project scope and complexity.
• Pay is provided on a per-job basis, with rates varying by project.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work as a 1099 subcontractor (independent contractor).
• Provide own tools and equipment for job completion.
• Liability insurance is required.
• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.
